EastEnders spoilers follow from Monday’s episode, which is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer. This article contains storyline details that some viewers may prefer to avoid until the episode has aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Johnny Carter has made another major discovery in the aftermath of Linda’s murder confession.
Johnny has become increasingly worried about Linda since returning to the Square last week, and has been determined to get to the root of her problems.
Linda finally broke down and told Johnny everything – explaining that she killed Keanu on Christmas Day how she, Sharon, Denise, Suki, Stacey and Kathy covered it up.
Monday’s visit to Walford (February 19), which is already available to watch on BBC iPlayer, saw Johnny try to process the shocking news.
As he learned more information about the fateful night, Johnny was consumed with guilt about not being around for his mum sooner.
Linda tried to console her son and promised that she’ll stop drinking, and Johnny, in turn, vowed to get her sober.
He also insisted that from now on, Linda must do everything he said if she wanted his help to stay out of prison.
Johnny’s first request was in regards to the murder weapon, which Linda claimed was still in her bedroom.
Johnny was furious over this and instructed her to bring the other women to The Vic for an emergency meeting.
Kathy, Stacey, Suki and Denise were all summoned to the barrel store, where they were horrified to realise Johnny was now in on their secret.
The unexpected revelation threw Denise, who had been seeing disturbing hallucinations of Keanu earlier in the evening, into a panic and she ran upstairs into the pub.
The women tried to console her, until Johnny emerged with another bombshell.
He explained that the murder weapon had been taken from Linda’s bedroom and one of them must be responsible. But who?
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
