The 29-year-old actress announced Sunday on Instagram that her longtime lover Joseph Hooten had proposed. A carousel of black-and-white images from the lovely proposal of the engaged couple were featured in the post.
Hooten proposed on the deck of the boat, and a photo of the happy couple shows them smiling and embracing. The caption stated, “I knew you were my forever the moment I laid eyes on you.” As the former presenter of Beat Shazam glanced at the camera, another photo showed Corinne planting a peck on Hooten’s cheek. Then, they were embraced in an embrace.
It is unknown when exactly Corinne and Hooten began dating because she was very private about their relationship. It was supposedly in 2018 when the couple first met at USC, where they both attended.

Following that, the TV personality shared some relationship news in a series of posts. A single Instagram post from October showcased her September activities and included numerous photos of Hooten from that month. The happy pair was seen looking adoringly at each other in another ceremonial photo.
Hooten doesn’t appear to have an Instagram account, and he is a very private person overall. But according to his Coverfly profile, he’s a TV executive, writer-director, and award winner who works for John Wells Productions. The profile describes Hooten as someone who is “passionate about telling emotional, provocative stories about socio-economic classism.”
The World Was Alerted When She Made Public Her Father’s Health Crisis
Months after Corinne broke the news that her father, Jamie Foxx, had suffered a serious medical problem, she and Hooten are now engaged. Jamie had the as-yet-unidentified health crisis, but she had received emergency medical treatment, according to a statement posted by Corinne on behalf of the Foxx family on Instagram on April 12th.

For weeks, the only thing anyone knew about Jamie Foxx’s health problem was that he was getting better. The rest of the family stayed mum about what exactly was wrong. In a subsequent post to her fans, Corinne said that her father had been discharged from the hospital and was “recuperating.”
The First Public Appearance by Jamie Foxx Was Just Now
Following the health issue, Jamie made his first public appearance and is now back in the spotlight. The actor from “Ray” recently spoke at the Los Angeles event held by the Critics Choice Association to celebrate the achievements of Black, Latino, and Asian American Pacific Islanders in film and television.
The actor spoke candidly about the health crisis as he accepted the Vanguard Award for his role in “The Burial.” I want to thank everybody,” he stated. I’ve experienced a difficult time. Some things have happened to me. I couldn’t have done it even six months ago; it’s insane. Walking was also out of the question for me.
When asked about his newfound gratitude for life, the Oscar winner became visibly upset. “Being here feels good,” he stated. These moments are precious to me. This is unique. That’s not like it. Regarding Corinne and his sister’s willingness to keep his health state private, Jamie expressed his gratitude.
According to him, “My sister and my daughter were so great at not letting anybody know anything that happened.” At the event, Jamie thanked several famous friends who had come to show their support for him and his family.
