Richard Lynch is an American country music singer/songwriter with a successful career that has lasted over three decades. Lynch was born on December 5, 1962 in Lebanon, Ohio. Lynch’s highest-charting single “A Better Place” topped the New Music Weekly AM/FM country chart, the Indie World Country Record Report and spent 32 weeks on top of the Roots Music Report True Country chart. Lynch is a member of the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame. Lynch was born and brought up on a 110 acre farm in Lebanon, Ohio, ran by his family. His father Woody Lynch was a local well-known musician and in attraction of this Richard has inbred love for country music and lifestyle. He started his career in 1978. At very early age of 13 he learned to play guitar, and by 15 he performed at wedding reception. He has compiled a long list of country hits and chart toppers in the world of traditional country music. He organized his own band named “The Renegade Band” later renamed the Richard Lynch Band and has been magnificently recording and touring ever since. His unique style is influenced by many classic American country artists. Lynch refers to his music as “pure country, showcasing elements of western swing, honky tonk and outlaw country. His latest single release is I Saw Santa Fishin. His single, “A Better Place” topped the New Music Weekly AM/FM country chart, the Indie World Country Record Report, and spent an incredible 32 weeks atop the Roots Music Report True Country chart.
He was also co-host of “Traditionally Lycnh” on Renegade Radio Nashville, and founder of Love Tattoo Foundation. Richard Lynch was given numerous awards for his music over the years. Lynch has been recognized as one of the greatest traditional country music champions since his entry into the Independent Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ohio Country Hall of Fame, his numerous Josie Music Award, the Academy of Western Artists Award, the Independent Country Music Association and many others. In early 2019 he was inducted into Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame. He was nominated for best male country artist by the Independent Country Music Association. 2015 his Album “A Better Place” was named the Pure Country Album of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists. Single “A Better Place” was named No. 1 True Country Song by Roots Music Report. 2017 Richard Lynch receives seven nominations for the Annual Josie’s Awards. Richard Lynch has been honored for his actions off the stage, as the recipient of a Josie American Celebration Patriot Award. Lynch, who is a founder of the Love Tattoo Foundation, was acknowledged for his above and beyond support of veterans, American farmers, and barn preservation. He was chosen from a field of 28 nominee submissions from fans around the world. The Patriot Award was given in a ceremony held on October 26th in Lebanon, TN. He expressed his feelings in simple words that “I am very proud to be considered a Patriot for using my traditional country music to benefit our true patriotic heroes…our veterans” Lynch has poured his heart and soul into the innumerable chart-topping hits he and his band have ever produced. For three decades and counting, Lynch has written, sung, and performed his songs with passion and dedication, building himself up into an independent country music sensation. While his musical roots are grounded in pure country, his songs also showcase elements of western swing, and outlaw country.
