Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter Savannah has provided an update on their health. Even though she wasn’t intending on having a good Thanksgiving this year, the younger Chrisley just uploaded a video in which she indicated that her plans have altered.
“Help! I am going crazy!” You are aware that this year we will be enjoying Thanksgiving in a little different way; I simply would not pretend otherwise. Emotionally, she added, “I wasn’t going to do the traditional Thanksgiving we’re always used to,” as CeCe Winans’s gospel song “Goodness of God” played to the background. However, the appeals court has approved our oral arguments, and I received a call about it this morning. I was inconsolable, you know.
Conspiracy to defraud banks out of about $30 million in loans was the charge against Todd and Julie Chrisley last year. Along with their accountant, Peter Tarantino, the stars of “Chrisley Knows Best” were found guilty of multiple tax offenses.
Julie Chrisley received a seven-year sentence, while Todd Chrisley is currently serving a twelve-year term in the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Pensacola, Florida. She was transferred to Lexington, Kentucky’s Federal Medical Center (FMC) for treatment.
“I shall never cease contending for you, Mama and Daddy!” Savannah Chrisley captioned the video.
An important turning point in every case is the oral argument before an appellate court. It appears that the panel may already have a decision in mind, as the briefs have been written, according to the caption. “So, if you want the panel to rule in your favor, or if this is your last chance to salvage your case, then oral argument is for you!
The expected start of the oral arguments, she continued, is the week of March 25, 2024.
A mere six percent of cases presented for oral arguments are really accepted, the twenty-six-year-old informed. “This is massive news. We get to go debate why mom and dad should be home,” she continued. God, then, is good. Thank goodness it was for Thanksgiving!
This past July, in an episode of their podcast “Unlocked w/ Savannah Chrisley,” she and her 27-year-old brother Chase Chrisley spoke about the “inhumane” conditions that their parents were facing behind bars.
