The game has such a basic premise, yet it’s so easy to play on a regular basis because all you have to do is guess a five-letter phrase and you’ll get clues along the way.

Some Alternatives to Wordle
Every day may not be easy, but there are plenty of other games out there that will challenge your knowledge in comparable ways. Wordle’s popularity has inspired several imitators; even Weezer’s lead singer, Rivers Cuomo, has launched a game called Weezle, in which users must, unsurprisingly, decipher a lyric from one of the band’s songs every day.
