As the Bills start their on-field preparation for Saturday’s game against the Chargers, they have a long injury report.
However, since Buffalo had a walk-through on Tuesday, the numbers of players who participated in practice are only estimates.
Leonard Floyd, a defensive end, was added to the report as a limited participant due to a wrist and rib injury.
Micah Hyde, a safety, and A.J. Epensea, an end, both missed last week’s victory over the Cowboys due to injuries. Additionally, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (pectoral), tight end Dalton Kincaid (shoulder), and running back Ty Johnson (shoulder) were also restricted. After being designated to return from injured reserve, Jones has started his 21-day practice window.
Both Von Miller (personal) and Jordan Phillips (wrist) did not play in Tuesday’s practice. If the Bills go to the playoffs, Phillips hopes to return from wrist surgery.
Quarterback Josh Allen was a full participant despite still being classified with a right shoulder injury.
Additionally, receiver Justin Shorter (hamstring), punter Sam Martin (knee), tight end Dawson Knox (wrist), long snapper Reid Ferguson (right thumb), cornerback Kaiir Elam (ankle), and Martin were all full.
