Jackson Mahomes engaged in a flirtatious exchange with Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole in the Instagram post she made on December 8th.
“How beautifully done!” Kayla posted a series of images in which she posed wearing a baseball cap, jeans, and a leather jacket; Jackson, who is 23 years old, made a remark on the post.
“What a generous man, Jack!” A cheerful face emoji and the response came from 32-year-old Kayla.
Travis, 34, was Kayla’s boyfriend from 2017 till 2022. One of Travis’s friends and teammates on the Kansas City Chiefs is Patrick Mahomes, who is the brother of Jackson. While Kayla was seeing the Chiefs’ tight end, they spent a lot of time together at games.
Despite Jackson’s apparent continued friendship with Kayla after her breakup with Travis, the model’s relationship with Patrick, 28, and his wife Brittany Mahomes looks to be on the rocks right now. In October of 2022, Brittany’s Instagram was unfollowed by Kayla, who had been one of her bridesmaids. This choice was made when Brittany’s bond with Travis’s new girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was taking root in the summer.
The reason behind Kayla’s public decision-making has been explained to all involved, she told People. There is a great deal of mutual respect and friendship there. That takes time to change. However, I feel compelled to defend myself in public due to the rapidity and visibility of the events. It’s as simple as that. The affection remains.
Kayla revealed her deep sadness at Travis’s breakup in that same interview. After the breakup, she “had a hard time getting out of bed,” as she put it. The internet celebrity said that treatment was a lifesaver during her “miserable” and “depressed” time.
Additionally, she mentioned that treatment was helpful in managing the attention that the relationship between Taylor, 33, and Travis, who became public knowledge in September, received. “I couldn’t have handled this situation any differently if I hadn’t gone to therapy,” she said. “No idea.”
After Travis “put [her] on blast” in July’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Taylor acknowledged in a recent interview with Time that they were dating. At the event in Kansas City on July 8, the NFL star attended Taylor’s Eras tour and expressed his regret for not having the opportunity to meet her and give her his number. The public proclamation was dubbed “metal as hell” by the music sensation.
She came clean and said, “We started hanging out right after that.” As a result, we were able to spend a considerable amount of time together without anyone noticing, and for that I am eternally grateful.
