Summary of The Legendary Mechanic
What do you do when you wake up and find yourself inside the very game that you love?
What do you do when you realize you that you have not only become an NPC – you have even been thrown back in time to before the game even launched!
What will happen when our protagonist’s two realities coincide?
Han Xiao was a professional power leveler before his transmigration. Using his past life’s knowledge, Han Xiao sweeps through the universe as he prepares for the arrival of the players. This is definitely not your typical transmigration novel.
Han Xiao suddenly opened his eyes and saw a blinding white light. The familiar game room door was gone and replaced by a pure white ceiling. The white walls around him had a cold metallic feel and strong science fiction vibes. The room was arranged like an intensive care unit. He lay on an iron desk, bare, with several wires being connected to his body. He was feeling so cold with his back being stuck to the metal.
Characters of The Legendary Mechanic
Described as having a prince-like face, Han Xiao’s appearance is rarely described in The Legendary Mechanic. When he is, he is almost always described as wearing a black windbreaker, exuding a natural pressure on those of a lower level.
Han Xiao has a personality similar to Manison as confirmed by him, both focus only on accumulation and work. He has very rarely shown interest in entertainment, rather preferring to spend his times productively. He is known for being thick-skinned and shameless.
Regardless, he has shown to be rather intelligent and very shrewd not letting a single profit go over his head.
Later on, he becomes more ruthless and calculating. whether this is because his power has grown to a level where he can be or his personality is subtly changing is unsure. However, he still shows his “kind and brotherly” personality to the ‘players’ to show them he is still the person they knew as “Black Phantom” back on Aquamarine.
Hila is a strong female NPC in Galaxy and a powerful Super- S Grade. She is a close friend of Black Star from when he rescued her and her sister from Germinal, and is a fierce and cold-blooded warrior.
Boasting a headful of luscious, burgundy hair that concealed part of her face, the woman wore a tight-fitting, jet black bodysuit from which her curvaceous figure threatened to burst out at any time.
Her features were telling of her Western descent, but they were also composed of a certain softness that was characteristic of Eastern women; perhaps it was her mixed heritage that blessed her with such beauty and charm. In a different world, she could have been easily mistaken for a beautiful snake demoness.
She is cold and fierce, and prefers to solve her problems through combat. Most of her interactions with Black Star and other Legion Cadres involve challenges to combat.
She is fiercely loyal (promising herself to Black Star when he fought 12v1 during the Ethereal Religion and Radiance Federation Ambush; under the mistaken belief that he burnt his potential to protect her life).
“Me, a thief? Hey hey, don’t accuse me of stealing if you don’t have proof! I, the venerable Han, am a law-abiding, state-loving citizen. Back in secondary school and high school, I was always the model student! I was in the top 3 every year! People always praised me for being a righteous young man, plus I’ve never even peeked on a girl before, much less steal! As for now— cough, cough —I’m just borrowing some money from a kindred soul out of desperation. You feel me bro?” – Han Xiao right after stealing Ch 20
“Let’s get on well.” – Han Xiao to Belfuli, B-Grade Purple Sky Snake Pirate Ch 550
Everything is back!
It’s this feeling! The excitement of a mechanic!
Every time I spend money, my blood pressure skyrockets!
Happiness of the poor…
Happy my ass!” – Ch 330
“Who else?” – Han Xiao after his victory against all S-Grade Supers of Three Civilisations. ch 1307
“I’m here. (…) Now… it’s your turn to run.” Han Xiao to attacking Beyond-Grade-A’s after his arrival. ch. 1051
“Before gambling, first see the risks. Sorry, maybe I made a less correct decision.
