India Business Visa is now Available Online
In November 2014, the Indian government introduced an online tourist visa (electronic visa) for 43 countries. This was done to promote tourism in India, because travelers would no longer have to go to the embassy to obtain a visa. In 2015, India launched the electronic visa program in other major countries around the world. In April 2017, India reorganized its program, introducing a special subcategory for business travelers.
Currently, business travelers from over 160 countries can apply for an electronic business visa. Travelers who use the electronic business visa program pay an online commission and receive an online electronic visa before traveling to India. The procedure has really simplified things for business travelers, who can now avoid sending their passport to the embassy. The electronic visa is an official document that allows entry and travel to India. Applicants will receive their business visa by email, once they have completed the application form with the requested information and once they have made the payment by credit card online.

We recommend that you bring a copy of your electronic visa with you at all times during your stay. However this visa is not extendable, it cannot be prolonged. Since the electronic visa allows two entries, you can leave India and return immediately for a stay of another 180 Total days (or until the visa expires, whichever comes first).
As with the electronic tourist visa, India requires that you submit your application within 120 days of the scheduled arrival date. However, you can submit the application with authorities at any time, as we will automatically leave your order on hold until the right time to process your request.
