The iPhone is the most popular smartphone in the world. In 2019 alone, more than 185 million units were sold.
Currently, there are five models available—the iPhone 11, iPhone XR, iPhone SE, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 Pro.
As with all smartphones, however, they can break. Take the screen, for instance, it can crack if you drop the device on the ground.

Assessing the Damage
The first thing that you want to do is to assess the damage. Is the screen completely shattered or is there a hairline crack?
If it’s the former, you’ll want to carefully put a piece of tape over the screen. That way, you won’t have to worry about the broken glass coming off. You should give your iPhone to someone like an iPhone screen replacement in Dubai as they can fix the issue with proper care.
Repairing the Cracked Phone Screen
There are a few ways to fix your iPhone screen. Here are some of your options.
Bring It to Apple
Apple will fix your screen for $29 if you have AppleCare+. For those of you who don’t have extended warranty, it’s probably going to cost a bit more—at least $129.
Depending on whether or not there’s other damage to the device, the price may be even higher.
Bring It to a Local Repair Shop
Another option is to bring your iPhone to a local repair shop. Generally speaking, it will be cheaper than going to Apple (assuming that you don’t have AppleCare+).
Keep in mind, however, that Apple might refuse to do future repairs on your device if they realize that your iPhone has been repaired by a third party.
Mail-In Repair Services
Believe it or not but there are mail-in repair services that you can use for your iPhone. If anything, they can be convenient for those who live far away from local stores.
There is a drawback, however. That is, these repair services are known for being slow. Depending on which company you choose, returns can take up to a few weeks.
Fix It Yourself
Finally, you can try to fix it yourself; there are specialized toolkits that you can get that will allow you to get inside the device.
Just remember that it’s a delicate process. When in doubt, leave it to the professionals. After all, mistakes happen and that’s the last thing that you want to deal with!
Fixing Your Cracked iPhone
The bottom line is, there’s more than one way to fix a cracked phone screen. Even if you don’t have AppleCare+, there are other options available. If anything, you just want to make sure that whoever’s fixing it knows what they’re doing!
